Just now when I did my clicks, I only had to click on the link line to open the ad page. LOVED IT. It made viewing my ads much faster and easier! I hope you keep it that way.
I also enjoyed the increased number of ads. Keep up the good work WordLinx!   Kiss  Grin

I am glad that wordlinx is improving on their site. Let's all hope that more improvements will come so that this site will become better and more reliable.

I am still clicking on the link and also the dot.  However, that doesn't bother me.  It only takes a second.

wagygirl, the links should show a dot every time. Otherwise you may not be loading the page correctly and might not be credited for your clicks.

Admin, I was credited. I really thought it was a great improvement. Most of the ads are worth 1/2 cent. We click the link, click the dot, then click to close frame [for credit]. It just seems like a wonderful time saver to not have to click the dot or the frame closer.
Maybe you could think about it.  Wink  Kiss

They are security measures to prevent cheating, automated clickers etc., so they are necessary.

I only meant for them to remove ONE of the steps, not both. Like, remove the "red dot" or remove the "remove frame" link. Just to speed things up and make Wordlinx more user friendly.

The red dot is the best security measure, but not having to click to remove the frame should be okay. Then there would only be 1 website hit and that might be better for statistical, crediting etc. purposes.

The dot is there to check you're not a using a program to auto click the adverts fraudulently.

Removing the frame means you can access the site as it was intended to be viewed and all of the site's scripts will run correctly. It's a major feature which sets us apart from other PTCs.

I'm going to move this into Bugs so it can be investigated.

Our programmers have now updated the browse script to avoid this happening.
